When we first set a goal, our motivation is highest because our enthusiasm is sparked and the feeling of change can be exciting. At least it is at first. But how do we summon our motivation to reach that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when we’ve been working towards that goal for months or years?
I will always remember 2019 as the year that I finished and published my book Healing Our Bloodlines, as well as completed my upcoming documentary Sakura & Pearls: Healing from WWII. Find out how I use self inquiry to dig deep and reach my pot of gold!
George Kamana Hunter is the Director of the PBS Documentary Sakura & Pearls: Healing from World War II, which exclusively captures a special meeting between US Pearl Harbor Attack Survivors and Japanese Atomic Bomb Survivors at Pearl Harbor.
He is the Author of Healing Our Bloodlines: The 8 Realizations of Generational Liberation, a guidebook on how to break free from the cycles of abuse. It was inspired by his 20 years of working with clients, including true stories from Jewish Holocaust Survivors, Native American Veterans, the homeless, immigrant families and Irish Americans who descended from the Potato Famine. It was written for people of all ethnic and religious backgrounds.
When he's not making movies, writing books, or giving inspirational talks, he can be found surfing pristine waves in Hawaii and throughout the Americas.
