I recently gave a talk about the 3 Virtues of the Heart that we need in order to heal. These virtues are Courage, Humility, and Forgiveness.
Each virtue includes an example story of 3 World War II survivors that I interviewed for my movie Sakura & Pearls
This is all before a special meeting between2 Atomic Bomb Survivors and 2 Pearl Harbor Survivors who will meet on April 28th, 2019. Help us provide travel and hotel to the survivors flying out from Japan here: https://www.gofundme.com/sakura-pearls
Three Virtues of the Heart: What I learned from World War II Atomic Bomb survivors and the survivors of Pearl Harbor.
George Kamana Hunter is the Director of the PBS Documentary Sakura & Pearls: Healing from World War II, which exclusively captures a special meeting between US Pearl Harbor Attack Survivors and Japanese Atomic Bomb Survivors at Pearl Harbor.
He is the Author of Healing Our Bloodlines: The 8 Realizations of Generational Liberation, a guidebook on how to break free from the cycles of abuse. It was inspired by his 20 years of working with clients, including true stories from Jewish Holocaust Survivors, Native American Veterans, the homeless, immigrant families and Irish Americans who descended from the Potato Famine. It was written for people of all ethnic and religious backgrounds.
When he's not making movies, writing books, or giving inspirational talks, he can be found surfing pristine waves in Hawaii and throughout the Americas.
